Hotel Villa Royale - Schaerbeek

Strongly recommend for a brief pit stop

Comfortable bed, convenient location, the room was equipped with a tv for entertainment during downtime, and the near tram stop made it easy to reach various attractions quickly.

Everything was flawless.

For the price, you can reach the centre of Brussels in 15 minutes on foot. The metro stop Botanique is 2/3 minutes walk from the hotel, therefore the Botanical Park is also next door. The girl at the reception gave us a map when we arrived (we left our bags in the luggage room while the check-in desk was arriving, and went for a walk), and we could see that everything was really close. It's a normal neighborhood, with many kebap restaurants around. If you want to travel to Bruges, Ghent... places further away, you have also the Nord station, about 10 minutes walking. And the bed is COMFORTABLE!

In the shower we think there was a missing screen or curtain because we were not able to shower without forming an Olympic pool on the floor. Our hairdryer wasn't working but we quickly borrowed one from the reception.

The room was recently updated and cozy, with a comfy bed and modern amenities. Great tram stop right outside!

The room I booked was renovated like in the pictures and available with safe, nice big shower, as for instance. The breakfast was free of charge and perfect and included. It was in a good location to the railway station or the bus station.

Convenient public transport, free wi-fi, but no coffee facilities and a mini-flood in showers.

Overall had excellent stay for short business trip. Walk from a palace and a Royal palace, overall the location was marvellous.

Everything is OK. Close to Metro and tram. Room is nice and staff is helpful. Food is good.

The vintage decor of Villa Royale added a charming character to my stay. I particularly enjoyed the cozy reading nook that offered a lovely escape after my day of exploring Brussels.

Need more soundproofing in the rooms.

Location near the train station

The loud people in the room next to us. They were loud. We could also smell smoke coming from the same hotel room next to us.

The room had a unique vintage decor, offering a charming character that added to the overall experience. It was conveniently located near a tram stop, providing quick access to various attractions and highlights of the area.

The hills leading to the hotel can be a workout, especially if you're hauling luggage. The shower setup lacks a proper curtain, leading to occasional flooding, and the walls are thin enough that you might catch snippets of conversations from neighboring rooms, which could disturb your peace.

Noise from the street - impossible to sleep with open windows.

Breakfast is not so various, but anyway very good. Near to metro station and Brussels Nord Station. The neighborhood (near red district) is not the most beautiful in Bruxelles, but it's not dangerous at all, and the street of the hotel is nice.
